Hope everyone is having a terrific school year! Our always popular Winter Camp is just around the corner!  Last year we had a fantastic time with campfires, glow stick capture the flag, the crazy build-your-own-boat contest, and, of course, the New Year’s Eve into Early AM Dance!  We hope to see everyone there!Available for ages 7-15

Winter Camp Dec 28-Jan 2

Summer 2009 is shaping up to be our biggest one yet!  By popular demand we have added TWO 2 week sessions...June 28—July 10 and August 2—August 14!

Sessions 4A/B and Sessions 8 A/B are special 2 week sessions!  2 week sessions provide the ultimate Camp Wewa experience.  A 2 week session is unique because it allows a greater opportunity to establish bonds with other campers as well as staff.  Campers will have an extra week to experience all of the activities areas Camp has to offer, or, if they choose, they can build on their expertise and put more time into their favorite activities.  Over the weekend campers will get to participate in COLOR WARS, an incredible weekend of  teamwork and wacky competitions!  The cost of the program is discounted the same as the LIT tier prices (in other words, the weekend is included for free!)

Realizing that families have different abilities to pay, this year YMCA Camp Wewa has instituted a voluntary three-tier fee program.  You many choose the tier that is most suitable for your family.

Tier 1 more closely accounts for the true costs of camp including wear and tear of building and grounds.  This price allows us to continue growing Camp Wewa and fees are used for annual upgrades to Camp Wewa ie new programs, new buildings

Tier 2 is our partially subsidized fee for those who can pay a little more but still can not afford the actual cost of camp.

Tier 3 is our historically subsidized rate and does not reflect the true cost of operating summer camp programs.

This program is voluntary and in
no way influences the experience children receive, yet it offers the opportunity for families to take an active role in supporting the true cost of their child's camp experience.

If you cannot afford the cost of Tier 3, please ask for a confidential financial aid application.
Financial assistance, to the extent possible, is available to those in need.  Please call 407-886-1240 for assistance.
