:: The term “Wewa” means many waters. Camp Wewa is surrounded by lakes on all four sides! :: Camp Wewa is part of the 911 service area. We became part of the City of Apopka in the fall of 2003 where the local fire station is just a mile down the road. :: Renovated buildings are located throughout the property including a newly renovated dinning hall and bathhouses, cabins with air-conditioning, a new deck, and much more! :: Camp Wewa has 16 air-conditioned cabins that sleep 12-16 :: The entire facility is used year-round with rental groups, Outdoor Education, and teambuilding :: Wewa can host up to 2000 campers every summer! :: Our staff are young men and women chosen for their leadership qualities, maturity, and caring attitude towards children. All staff go through the same background fingerprint screenings as Orange County Teachers and are CPR/AED and 1st Aid certified with activity heads are specially trained and/or certified in their program area. |

| :: YMCA Camp Wewa is a co-ed camp, located 15 miles north of Orlando in Apopka, Florida. Orlando and all of its attractions (Disney, Universal, Sea World, etc.) are all within a 30-minute drive. Daytona Beach (The World’s Most Famous Beach) is just a short 60-minute drive away. | ||

Through adventure, discovery and friendship, YMCA Camp Wewa offers children from all over the state of Florida and beyond a camping experience with well-supervised safe programs, traditional camp activities, and adventure trips designed to build a strong foundation of spirit, mind and body. | ||

This program provides companies a teambuilding experience utilizing ground, low, and high ropes as well as Goliath, our 40-ft climbing wall that has two zip lines. Our teambuilding professionals will explore with you your groups goals and objectives to create a program specifically designed to build your Best Team! | ||
